A Recipe For Rachel Ray's No Fail Fudge......

This is a recipe that I've used many times....Very easy

1 bag of chocolate bits
1 bag of butterscotch bits
1 can of condensed milk (I use Eagle Brand)
1 cup of chopped walnuts ( pecans, etc)

In a heavy saucepan melt the first two ingredients, stirring constantly.. Stir in the milk and walnuts and continue stirring until thoroughly melted and mixed.

Pour into a rectangle container and smooth. ( I line my container with aluminum foil so that I can lift it out to cut). Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut into bite size pieces.
Enjoy and share with friends. I make this at Christmas to give as gifts.

Thanks for the recipe! I think she is the cook I saw on Oprah giving all her quick recipes just before Christmas. Does it taste like chocolate or butterscotch?

Dot,

It taste like chocolate, but now so strong. She says you can also use white chocolate. I haven't tried that because this tastes so good.

Betty, I just can't help myself, "YUMMO," as Rachel Ray would say! LOL Thanks for an easy and delicous recipe. I also wanted to tell you that you are such a talented seamstress. I love the curtains you made for Amy, especially the ones in her kitchen:)

Susan,
Thank you for the compliment about Amy's window treatments. I do enjoy sewing things for our homes. Of course, since the sewing is 'no cost', both daughters take advantage of that!

Oooh does this ever sound good! I enjoy watching Rachel Ray on the cooking network. I'll have to try this. I just hope I don't eat it all myself...lol.

Your recipe sounds delicious Betty and what a lovely gift it would make. I’m not sure where I’d get butterscotch bits from tho’. I’ve never seen butterscotch sold bagged in bits. Maybe I’d have to buy butterscotch sweeties and break them into bits. I’ll look out for some.

Good to see your picture on your profile. Have a good day. Marion

Sounds delicious as I am a toffee or butterscotch fan. Can't get the butterscotch chips in England (would you believe) but I still have some from my last USA visitors so here goes I'll copy the recipe. Thanks.
Thanks also for visiting my blog and commenting. I have begun to go through yours and will take in all eventually. Thanks for the video too. I have already passed it on to friends over here.
