Come in.......

Today we are in the kitchen....red and white buffalo checked wall paper with white wainscoting and chair railing...

The table is made of boards over one hundred years old.....the top boards are 2 x 6's. The legs are 4 x 5's. It is so heavy that the top middle boards are not fastened down so that they can be removed if and when the table is relocated........my Daddy advised me in case of a tornado to get the children and get under it.
We enjoy eating out of our Christmas dishes....the green glasses were my Mother's. They came filled with loose tea many years ago. Now in antique shops they are $25.00 each......The little water shelf on the far side of the table was built by my husband several years ago when he was into wood working....
A Christmas gift from a sweet friend.....Porcelane Charlestowne-Beaufort,SC.
Snowman measuring spoons.....Dollar Tree plate with redbirds.....
A Department 56 Santa filled with miniature books.....
This was a Santa tea light. I added a small electric candle lamp to the back.......
A Christmas ceramic car filled with candy......

A vintage Santa pitcher.........how is your kitchen decorated?
Come back.........will be looking for you.......
