Show and Tell Friday......antique snow globe.. Sun porch, garden room and patio, back door...

Welcome to our home........it's Show and Tell over at Kelli's...I've missed several weeks.....today I want to show you an antique snow globe I bought last year......the silver filigree base is tarnished but I haven't cleaned it.....I think it adds character....

.....................................................................................................................................................................
Today finishes up a look inside our home.......this the back door....a snow sled in the deep south is just good for decorations.......well, once every 5 or 10 years we might have snow........

A woodsman Santa greets you in my little all purpose room......

Not a very good picture of the lighted glass cube..........
Hand painted bells from years ago........
A wreath that dried from a wedding a few months ago......
The chest, that belonged to my Mama and Daddy holds red tin containers labeled 'Reindeer treats and elve treats'..........
Many hours of enjoyment spent on the digital piano-organ......
A row of toy soldiers on top of the corner cabinet.........the toile fabric is wet with liquid starch and smoothed on the doors.....ribbon trim around the edges.......can be pulled off and you would never know it had been there....it's great on any surface and especially in rented apartments, etc.
Snowmen.......................

Even a canine angel.....................
Snow man pillow........along with a vintage sock monkey.......
A revolving fiber optic revolving tree from a dear friend..........
I found this wooden angel for $2.00 at a Salvation Army store....
My storage house gets a wreath, too........................
The rabbit dressed for Christmas.......
Ling Ling wants to be included..........
Who is that shadow woman making pictures?
Looking out the den door to the patio............................
The carport entrance.........

Another Goodwill find for a couple of dollars.....................well, that concludes our home but, hopefully, tomorrow we'll visit our little red guest house......so come on back............

Thanks for the tip about the starched fabric; I might have to try that sometime.

All of your Christmas decorations are beautiful. Where in the world did you find that canine angel? I've never seen anything like it.

Thanks so much for sharing. Blessings for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Enjoyed touring your lovely home so much Betty. Your kitty is gorgeous, and fancy finding a 'canine angel', so cute!

You will have a lot of loveliness to pack away after CHRISTmas but know you are enjoying each special and much loved ornament and item - the memories they bring are always worth the effort aren't they?

Well I don't have a sled at the ready, and doesn't look like one will be needed here in Raleigh - still quite mild once the sun warms us up - cold nights but doubtful there will be any snow.

Blessings to you and your family.
Hugs - Mary.
