Baby, it's cold outside.........

The last three nights we have had extremely cold temperatures...... My husband placed a water hose up in a tree.......

This morning we had lots of icicles........
We decorate Christmas trees with man-made icicles but they don't compare with these.......Is it cold at your house?

The weather forecast for the weekend is in the 70's...............I think that's why we have so many colds....hot one day, freezing the next.......what do you think?

Look at those isicles, unbelivable !! It's been chilly here, Jack Frost was about last week but nothing like in your photo's. On the news today gas and electricity companies are putting a rise of about 17% on bills, so we'll have to stock up on some more hot water bottles ! ~ love Julia x

Can't believe I am seeing this in your part of the world. Very pretty though.

Betty,
Your icy pictures are beautiful and yes it is cold as can be here in Michigan but we are supposed to get a warm front moving through here this weekend.
Stay healthy and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Hugs,
Sue

Oh, it freezes me to look at those, but they really are pretty. Yes it has been very cold here too. And thank the Lord it is supposed to warm up in the 60's.
Your sweet comment New Year's Eve really cheered me up a lot. Thanks :)

Happy New Year dear Betty:-) Oh what absolutely breathtaking photos..I agree with you, there is nothing quite like nature's icicles!! We had those frigid temps as well but now it's getting milder and by next week we're to have some above normal temps! As you say, no wonder so many people are sick!! Here's to a wonderful year of continued friendship. xox

I love the look of icicles especially with the sun shining through them. It has been really cold here too; in the teens at night.

Those photos are beautiful! Makes this Florida gal shiver to see icicles!! We had a little cold snap, but it's warming up already here!

Betty,

The photos of the icicles are beautiful. Since I live in Ontario, I'm used to cold.

We left Dec 27th for Florida and on New Years Day it was very cold and windy. Wed wasn't much better but then it warmed up to around 70 degrees. That was like spring to us and we really enjoyed our visit. Last time we were in Florida, it was much too warm for us - in the high 90s.

Blessings,
Mary
