Marion and John Prepare A Meal For Us......

While Marion and John were visiting with us, we were treated to a delicious meal prepared by this dear couple......

We went shopping and Marion knew exactly what she was looking for to make the meal..........in a couple of instances she had to substitute an ingredient due to small town availability....

Percy Pig kept a watchful eye as Marion donned an apron, selected pots and pans and got to work.......

A chef at work.............................

A very important member of the team, John, stationed at the sink, kept everything washed up.........A culinary delight beautifully presented.....grilled chicken breast with lemon sauce, baked penne pasta with cheese topping, tender asparagus and garnished with miniature tomatoes......yum, yum, yum..........Marion, I wish we were having this meal for lunch today!

Marion is a wonderful cook along with all her other talents.....

That looks delicious, Marion may cook for me anyday she wants too. And John may come and do the washing up afterwards. :-)

Hello Dear Friend Betty......

How lovely to see your pictures and recall that special evening when you allowed me the honour of cooking supper for you and Edward. Yes, I remember well....... shopping for the ingredients at one of your fantastic super markets. It really was my pleasure, only wish I’d had the opportunity to do more other evenings too, but time expired so quickly.

Its been such a busy week here..... well you know of some of our commitments....... It rained on Tuesday, but the weather suited the occasion, it was an emotionally charged afternoon.... but more of that when I write.

Glory be! yesterday and today have been glorious days filled with warm sunshine.... we’ve taken advantage of it and enjoyed spending time outside. I’ll write tomorrow morning. Love to you and Edward - Marion

The meal looks just great. I know its was lots of fun.

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for your prayers on me and my families behalf during our trial with hurricane IKE. Our Great Grand Daughter is safe and sound and now weighs 4 pounds and 12 ounces. What a blessing!!!! We can't wait until we can hold her. The doctors say no people can be around her for another week. I can't wait. She is a miracle, truly she is. connie

What a wonderful visit. I love the suitcase and the cloth. And every thing! I friends that visit Wales and stay at a Bread and Breakfast. I sort hate to say, but it has a pub and they took a picture to Wales of my Komondor dog that eats with the sheep and goats. He thinks he a sheep. Well they tell me it hangs in the pub. You are blessed to have such wonderful friends. I love your porch it is so lovely.
