The Mini-Cooper that grew....Happy New Year to you. in 2009.....

Mini-Coopers have always caught my eye...not too many seen in the south.......

Hmm, I wonder if I added this miniature toy Mini-Cooper to water if it would expand into a real one......worth a try...... Gosh, it worked..........well, not really...thanks to Jim and Peggy who surprised me with the toy version and own the real one......
Happy New Year to all the wonderful bloggers and non-bloggers who drop by to visit with me from time to time.....each visit and comment is appreciated and treasured......I wish you all a healthy, happy, prosperous and a closer walk with our Savior, Jesus Christ, in the year of our Lord 2009......

Betty, I enjoy reading your blog.
Wish you would post more blogs for us. I am new to reading blogs, it
is like visiting with a friend. I
always look for Christian blogs and love to hear about daily lives
of all you wonderful women. It is interesting knowing that so many of us share the same life experiences - I have learned so much from these great blogs, enjoy all the decorating, organizing, recipes, favorite areas to travel and helpful hints. HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Hi Betty
We actually had a Mini back in the early 70's. Seeing you in that one brings back memories. It was our first car.
I hope that you experience God's love, joy and peace in abundance in 2009.
Hugs, Rhondi

Happy New Year Dear Friend Betty......

I feel truly blessed to have you as my friend and last year was enriched beyond measure when we travelled to Georgia and spent 12 glorious days with you, your family and friends. We now look forward to the time when you come visit us in Wales. Take joy in this new day and new year. Marion

PS... Love the car very trendy! My first car was a little red mini.

Cute post Betty!
I can't tell you what roads I took but just that I don't get on 75 until after I go thru Griffin. I usually get off on the other side of Macon and take the Sunshine Parkway. (I probably have that name wrong)
The little Smart Cars are considered to be fairly safe because of their construction. They are made by Mercedes.
Hope you and the family have a wonderful new year!

That was funny Betty. One used to see lots of Mini's in the 70's then not so many but they seem to be increasing now since petrol hit the $9 gallon mark.

Dear Betty,

I came across your blog quite by accident. You know how that goes -- you begin at one friend's blog, and travel on from there. LOL I've enjoyed reading your writings. I, too, am from Georgia -- born and raised there although my husband's job has taken us far away. I still miss it, though.

All the best to you and yours in 2009!

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to take the replica of a car you like, put it in water and transform it into a real sized one. :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
