Our twin granddaughters' Graduation Garden Party

Recently, our twin granddaughters, Erin and Elisabeth, graduated from high school. They have been rays of sunshine in our lives...

It was our pleasure to honor them with a Garden Graduation Reception on a gorgeous Saturday in May. Approximately 100 friends dropped by to congratulate them and wish them Godspeed...

Guests entered the backyard.....
A display table with kindergarten graduation pictures, high school diplomas and guest books and gifts...
Some younger guests and a Dad.....
The food table minus the food....take my word, it was delicious and plentiful...the old fashion popcorn popper was a BIG hit especially with the young guests but really everyone enjoyed a bag of popcorn at some point...
Elisabeth and Erin with their beautiful white cake festooned with a chic brown and pink bow and pink flowers...
The cake was designed and baked by a friend, Rachel, and given by Rachel and her Mom and Dad...a delicious gift.
The party colors were pink and brown ....

Lemonade, tea and water..........
It was great to see friends that we hadn't seen in a while...

This is Beth...she coordinated, cooked and kept everyone on track...so many friends helped make this indeed a special day.

Wesley, brother to the twins......
Fred and grandson Gene...Twin sister Alana around somewhere....

Well, that's what happened on a Saturday in May at our house...
Thanks for dropping by....

Betty,

What a wonderful celebration. Congratulations to the girls on their graduation. Everyone looks like they had a terrific time.

Love that old fashioned popcorn popper. That brought a touch of nostalgia to the party.

Your dress is beautiful. So glad you treated the girls to this wonderful reception.

Hope both you and Edward are well.
Blessings,
Mary

Betty, your reception was stunning. I had to blow up all the pics and study the details. So much to comment on -
the granddaughters are lovely. God's blessings as they begin a new journey.
your yard - simply beautiful.
the cakes and cupcakes, tables, tableclothes and chair decor - simply stunning.
You are invited to give a party at my home anytime. Oh yeah, we live in Barnesville - just northwest of Macon.
Thanks for leaving a sweet comment on my post before the last. I am sorry for the delay, but am forcing myself to exercise my fingers less and legs more = less internet time.

Dear Friend Betty.....

I have so enjoyed seeing the pictures of Erin & Elizabeth’s Graduation Reception held in your beautiful garden.

Seeing so many familiar faces brought back the precious memories of the wonderful Hospitality Tea you and Amy held for me there last year.

Congratulation to the girls may their future be truly blessed. Marion
