Monday Thrift Finds...Rhoda

Happy Labor Day........Please go by Rhoda's blog to see what everyone is showing on 'Thrifty Monday'........I found this table at Amelia Island when we were at the beach this summer....it really is vintage...I think the price was $15.00. My daughter, Melinda, liked it so now it belongs to her....
This is Arthur Court....I have other pieces that I enjoy...a couple of dollars....
This was the best buy of all...when we carried the garbage to the dumpster it was on the ground by the dumpster. I found it several months ago....cost....FREE...

Happy Thrifty......Betty

The doll house is soooo cute! Do you have to do anything to fix it up? If so, you should enter it in Infarrently Creative's Road Kill contest that she does about every 6-8 weeks. http://infarrantlycreative.blogspot.com/

Good Morning Betty,
What great finds you have here, enjoyed them all, but was so glad to find out that other people find great treasures at the dumpster as we do?lol. I sometimes wonder why people get rid of such great treasures. The doll house is beautiful.
Thank you for coming by and congratulating Charlotte, it was so thoughtful and gracious of you .
Blessings,
sue

I love all of your finds. That dollhouse looks like it could be fun. I found a big, half finished victorian at the curb several years ago. Sadly, I had to leave it behind when we moved to another state. Could it happen twice in one lifetime?

We found a fabulous free dollhouse on the side of the road earlier in the year. It was huge!!! Since we don't have any girls, we gave it to some friends of ours who have grand daughters. They love it!!! Yours is fabulous as well. And I love the table you gave to your daughter.

Hi Betty,
That is so sad that someone was throwing away that cute dollhouse...so glad that you found it! Now it has a good home! :-)
I love the story you told about Mark...he is quite the character, isn't he? I hope one day he makes it big...he really is talented!
