Prayers Requested

Hi everyone. Amy, here. Mama asked me to do a quick post to let you know why she hasn't been around to blog. My daddy has been in the hospital since Wednesday with blood clots in his left leg, and Mama hasn't come home at all during that time. So I'm sure they'd both appreciate your prayers!

Daddy had a procedure today that did take care of one clot at the top of his left leg, but there is still a clot at the bottom that will have to be surgically removed, either tomorrow or Monday...depending on how he does tonight. He's been in a lot of pain, and the procedures have been painful for him as well. And at this point, the doctor doesn't know where the clot(s) came from. So please pray for his recovery, wisdom for the doctors and medical staff, and strength and peace for Mama. I'm sure she'll update when possible.

They were supposed to leave for Branson, MO on Sunday afternoon for a short vacation...but that trip has obviously been cancelled. Maybe another time!

Thanks in advance for your prayers. It makes a difference!
Amy

Ooh, Betty, I am so sorry about your husband. I will certainly be praying that God will heal him and give the doctors wisdom in finding the cause of his problem.May God give you all the strength you both need and know that that are those of us who care and are praying.

You know for sure that our prayers are focussed on Edward’s ease of pain with a speedy and complete recovery. We pray too that wisdom and guidance be given to the medical team in whose care Edward is right now. Dear and precious friend Betty and all your family.... our thoughts and prayers are with you too..... may you be given strength and relief from tiredness to cope at this anxious time. Prayers and positive energy from Marion & John

Betty,

I am so sorry that your husband is suffering from blood clots. I certainly will keep him and your family in my prayers.

Be sure to take care of yourself and get lots of rest, as you will be needed when he comes home. I remember when my husband had his heart surgery and it is very hard on the spouse.

Thinking of you and praying.
Blessings,
Mary
