Show and Tell Friday..........

Kelli at There's No Place Like Home is holding a Show and Tell today.

This is one of my favorite accessories in my home. It is a handpainted pitcher and was given to me by a very dear friend Jeanette. She is a member of one of the churches my husband pastored. She is a retired first grade teacher. Roses are one of my favorite flowers along with hydrangeas, hollyhocks......just to name a few........

Betty are you saying your friend painted it too? It is very pretty. I loce the colors.

Sometimes I meet Mama in Macon...it is about half way for us both. We eat lunch & shop some. How far would that be from you? We should all 3 meet up sometime.

Dear Betty.... What a beautiful jug, I just love the colours, my favourite combination, pink and green and I could happily find a very fitting place for it here if ever you tire of it, which of course I know you will never.

My thoughts were with you constantly yesterday, I know you had a very busy day with so many commitments, I hope all went well and I pray that Amy is improving. Love - Marion

Dearest Betty.
What a great blogging friend you are- thanks so much for the comments left on my blog. l have been so busy and was not checking up as often. Sorry to hear about Virginia Tech- it has been all over the news this end- what a heartache.
The pitcher is really lovely. It was with great regret that l had to cut down my roses out front for the driveway- but needs must. l am hoping to replant some of them up back.
Much love and will come back to catch up more when l have time.
Bests and hugsxx
ps- it is lovely to see Marion commenting above- l will have to go over to visit with her next.
